The black comes from 壬, the ocean. Big mind, restless current — you need room to move. The monkey (申): clever and adaptable — you can fix almost anything. Virgo is earth: you notice the small things and quietly make them better.

When the Black Monkey fights

When you fightYou talk your way out.Your mind is quick. When it turns against you, you change the subject or make a joke.

How you're misreadPeople say you're never serious.Heavy air is hard for you. It doesn't mean you take it lightly.

Your strength in a conflictYou find the way out.You think about how to fix it before who's to blame.

What Virgo addsYou point out what's wrong, item by item.Virgo earth makes you more exacting. One thank-you for every fix.

One small stepBefore the joke, listen seriously for three minutes.
